Communal harmony is the hallmark of democracy in any country governed by the rule of law. It simply means living with unity and mutual respect, beyond class, caste, creed, religion and gender barriers. However, in the present times, various untoward incidents are affecting communal harmony in different parts of the country. People are creating unwanted barriers between themselves that only increase with misunderstandings and accusations. They need to be reminded that the country should be a harmonious place for everyone irrespective of their caste, colour or religion.
We celebrated Communal Harmony Week (19 November- 25 November) by inviting the students of Galgotias University to perform a nukkad natak at Noida Shilp Haat with the cooperation of the XR Central and All India Women Conference.
The students performed informative and entertaining Nukkad Nataks surrounding the topic multiple times at the venue and the nearby areas as well. Our team organised the event successfully.
