2023 is the International Year of Millets, and India is at its forefront. An AARDO (African-Asian Rural Development Organization) colloquium on 'Millets For Health and Food Security and Degustation of Millets' was held at the Constitution Club of India, where several renowned delegates, including Padmashree Dr. Khadar Valli, gave lectures. Dr. Valli, also known as the Millet Man of India, gave a keynote address on "Science of Millets in the Context of Climate Change and Global Food Security."
